Upgrading is FREE- it doesn’t cost anything to get upgrading.  Next Step is funded by the Ontario Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities and our fundraisers.

Monday: 9:00 am – 9:00 pm
Tuesday: 9:00 am – 9:00 pm
Wednesday: 9:00 am – 9:00 pm
Thursday: 9:00 am – 9:00 pm

We are closed on holidays.

Tutors and students usually meet at Next Step at 16 Victoria St. in Alliston, ON across the street from the library.

Come in and visit us! You can also send us an email – we will be happy to talk with you. We will schedule a time to meet with you and arrange a learning plan and tutor.
If you don’t like your program we will change it for you.  You are totally in control of your program and goals. Find more information on our programs »
If you are not making progress we aren’t using the right materials or approach. Talk to your tutor or the office and we will make some changes.
No, you don’t have to tell us why you miss a class but we appreciate it when you call beforehand to let us know you will be missing a class. Please call as soon as you know you won’t be attending.
If you need to miss a class please call Next Step and we will contact your tutor to cancel your session. If you miss three classes without informing anyone we will probably have to remove you from our program.

If you need vacation time you can talk to your tutor and inform the Training and Development Manager. They will arrange things for your vacation.

We can help. You will be asked to fill-in a form and provide us with proof of income and we will pay for taxi, mileage or a babysitter.
